I currently have a function that converts a string to its rich text version. This includes changing any newlines to <br> tags since I'm creating a web page. However, there are a few instances (out of many) in which I want to remove the <br> tags and replace them with spaces. I'm not very familiar with regular expressions, so I was wondering how I'd set one up to make this change.

Re: Replace From your question it is not clear, what you are looking for ... there is a couple of replace functions out in the wild, one of them using regular expressions. Did you already employ a forum search? Or is your problem finding a regular expression for "<br>" (which basically already is a regular expression)? Regards, Mathias |
Re: Replace My question is actually a regular expression one. I had done a forum search for replace text, but didn't find one that fit my criteria of using rich text. I will try again without rich text in the query. |
Re: Replace chrscote - Mon Mar 20 07:49:28 EDT 2017 My question is actually a regular expression one. I had done a forum search for replace text, but didn't find one that fit my criteria of using rich text. I will try again without rich text in the query. In this case you need to post an example text and the text you want to match using a regular expression. (It is also not clear what you mean by richtext, RTF or HTML). Regards, Mathias |
